The major shopping malls in Thailand are enormous in size and literally have it all. They usually have five to fifteen stories and include, retail stores, specialty shops, restaurants, theaters, child sized amusement parks and much more. Most of the major malls open 10-11 AM and close around 9 PM.
The Thailand open aired markets come in all sizes and have goods from around the world. Some of the best buys are local produced foods, clothes and specialty items. Thailand also has its famous floating markets where you can take a nice boat tour and go shopping all at the same time. Most tourists always buy a lot of goods from Thailand to take home and the shopping is a big part of their vacation plans.
