Local Transportation
Thailand is probably the easiest country to travel around in the world. You can book taxies, private vans from almost anywhere or any hotel. You can take a taxi for a flat rate from city to city or hire a large sized van for a group of people. The public transportation is reliable, comfortable and nonstop. Giant sized air-condition busses are a favorite for tourists and they run 24/7 all over the country. Most cities have a small airport for domestic travel and can be reached from Bangkok in around an hour. Thailand also offers train service to most cities.
